Week 2 Preview: Thursday and Friday

THURSDAY
7:00 PM

Middle Tennessee State (0-1) @ #5 Louisville (1-0)
MTSU looked like shit against a veteran Florida Atlantic team. This will be as much of a showcase as a casual fan would expect.
My Pick: Louisville
Confidence (out of 5): 5

7:30 PM

Oregon State (1-0) @ Cincinnati (1-0)
eeh oh eeh oh eeh oh trap alarm. OSU's star WR, Sammie Stroughter, seems set to return, but the rotating QBs against Utah were a disaster for the Beavers, even if they won. And Cincinnati looked impressive in smashing Murray State, plus I love Bearcats coach Brian Kelly. Oregon State RB Yvenson Bernard is good enough to pull this out by his lonesome, as the Utah game showed, but this smells like an upset.
My Pick: Cincinnati
Confidence: 2

FRIDAY
7 PM

Navy (1-0) @ Rutgers (1-0)
Could be a fun ground battle. The upset potential is there, as Navy can run on anyone, but the Midshipmen defense didn't look too hot against a much worse Temple team. A Navy win wouldn't shock me, but Ray Rice should have a huge enough game where that possibility would be put out of reach.
My Pick: Rutgers
Confidence: 2
